Away for Christmas!

Craft fair!

Valerie, Kristy and I had a wonderful time at the craft fair. Our table was
so cute! (Thanks, Trish!) I didn't do very well sales-wise, but it was
certainly a learning experience. It was intimidating to put myself out
there like that. Art is so personal and asking for critique by selling
items was difficult. At least on the internet, you can't see people facial
expressions or hear their comments. Overall, it was a good time.

Merry Christmas all, our family is off on a grand road-trip adventure and
will return in January!

Mother was clever at making things

This journal is one of my first "commissioned" art pieces. The photo is a friend's husband as a child on a horse made from various random things. Their mother was very creative! The text at the bottom says, "Mother was clever at making things."
